Also–the Omega Red that Deadpool showed mercy to is the more recent Omega Red–the one created in a lab and brainwashed to believe that X-Force killed his family and therefore swearing revenge. Deadpool showed him mercy because he has likewise been messed with, mentally, and sympathized.
He killed Ultimatum because they messed with his family, and he didn’t like that.
